What is your area of expertise?

I spend most of the time working in the background – I'm responsible for accounting and imports and also take care of certain areas of sales and customer enquiries. I'm the so-called jack-of-all-trades, so to speak. Tasks such as organising team events or furnishing our office are also parts of my job. However, I realise that a lot of trust is shown towards me. At EUMEDIQ, there's a “take care of it” mentality – and that's a great compliment.

What does import mean for a regulatory services provider like EUMEDIQ?

We are a regulatory importer, not a physical importer, so we do not maintain a warehouse. I had the opportunity to build up this business field together with Mike. We take care of everything for our customers, from document verification to customs and product inspection.

How else do you support your colleagues in their daily work?

I take care of internal matters, for example I handle and check expense reports, salary payments and social security matters and the like.

What 3 words would your team mates use to describe you?

Enthusiastic, committed, reliable. I enjoy my work and I'm even happier when I realise that what I do provides concrete support for my colleagues and also drives them forward.

Which topic in your daily work gives you the best ideas?

Actually, when writing invoices. Whenever I hear “you can send the invoice”, it means success and that we have achieved something. I can see business developments directly in the figures in front of me, the entire process from quotation to finalisation and can therefore make direct recommendations for action.

Your photo on the team website shows you with inline skates – tell us more about it!

I live in beautiful Tösstal and love skating along the river Töss. I have pursued this hobby since I was a child. I'm looking forward to showing my children these wonderful routes later on.

What has been your biggest challenge at EUMEDIQ so far?

It's fair to say that my role is generally a challenge – but in a positive sense. I come from a completely different field and previously worked in sales at a retail company specializing in luxury crystal jewelry, so it was a far cry from medical technology. I didn't have much experience in accounting either. I am all the more grateful for the experience I have gained at EUMEDIQ and the insights into the industry.

Please finish the sentence: For me, the best confirmation at the end of the day is when...

... I was able to complete all open tasks, nothing remains open and I have a feeling of “completion”!
