What is your area of expertise?

I started in quality management at Medela AG in Baar 8 years ago.  Document management, digital and physical archiving of process documents, labelling. I supported the creation and maintenance of technical documentation. I work in Quality Support at EUMEDIQ. Processing customer inquiries and organizing relevant documents are part of my daily business.

How do you prioritize these requests and the high density of documents in this highly regulated environment?

I'm an early riser! My head is clear and the morning calm spurs me on. I like to work from the top down, not a wild jumble of tasks. Quality before quantity.

How would your team colleagues describe you in three words?

At peace with myself, inquisitive and with a great sense of humour.

In which area of your daily work do you come up with the best ideas? When are you at your best?

I like projects with structures. A clear announcement, a deadline and off we go. I often come up with solutions while cycling or walking.

EUMEDIQ is a provider of regulatory services. What do you have a particularly keen eye on?

Quality for the customer. As an F&B manager, I used to be passionate about making people happy. Back then it was pizza and panna cotta, today it's standards and requirements – customer satisfaction is what truly matters, not the way we achieve it.

You're living abroad for half a year, tell us more about it

Together with my partner, I live half a year in Switzerland and the other half in Australia, near Perth, Margaret River region, very close to the sea. The reality of life is very different, the country is extremely diverse and we are very active. I need variety and Australia offers that in many ways.

What do you see as the biggest differences between the two countries?

Switzerland stands for rules and structure. Routine. Australia is spontaneous – the perfect balance for me. I like it the way it is. My life is full of variety.

What was your most memorable experience there?

A hike in Australia. Everything was badly calculated. Too little water, too little electrolyte, too much exuberance. Euphoria and carelessness led us to run two stages. A brief faint was followed by an adrenaline rush. 45 kilometres later, worried rangers picked us up. I left the telling off to my partner.

Please finish the sentence: For me, the perfect end to a day is when...

… all tasks are completed, the customer has no unanswered questions and I can take a positive experience with me into the evening.
