What is your area of expertise?
I am the marketing person at EUMEDIQ and am responsible for ensuring that we reach medical device manufacturers where they need pragmatic solutions and find a partner who keeps an eye on every detail in the highly regulated MedTech environment.
For example?
For instance, start-ups. Small, innovative companies with a lot of drive and very good products that can offer real added value. However, regulatory barriers to market entry can be a huge hurdle for these businesses. We know these hurdles very well and my job is to reach the companies at the right time and in the right place with the right message. Namely: We know your struggles and are here to help you overcome them.
What is marketing in MedTech like?
For me, marketing in MedTech is one thing above all: versatile and challenging. You’re constantly moving between specialised knowledge and creative storytelling. It’s not just about promoting products, but also about conveying trust and expertise. I find the interface work between internal experts, external partners and customers particularly exciting – it requires teamwork and a good understanding of the needs of everyone involved.
How would your team colleagues describe you in three words?
Creative, positive, chaotic. 😀
When do you come up with the best ideas in your daily work? When do you perform at your best?
When I’m on the move and actually often at night, when my brain is supposed to be doing something else.
EUMEDIQ is a provider of regulatory services. What do you have a particularly keen eye for?
I am a person who is very good at ”letting 5 be even”, but one thing I attach great importance to is a uniform web presence, good texts and a clear message.
What would you have liked to do if you hadn’t ended up in Regulatory Affairs?
I always wanted to be a marine biologist or have my own garden centre. Nothing came of it, but my love of the sea and everything that flies around in it, as well as greenery, has remained. Today, at least I am responsible for the EUMEDIQ office plants.
